Traveled south of Big Sur today for some cheaper gas, groceries and oil for the car. On the way back, the sun was silently screaming through the rain clouds. It was difficult to keep driving; had to pullover time and time again just to look!!!

And then…a RAINBOW!!!!!

10 days ago I left Austin, TX. I drove straight through ’til Tuscon, where I stopped at a good friend’s house for some shut eye.

I arrived in Tuscon while it was dark. I really enjoyed the surprise of what I saw in the morning: mountains!!!

I left Tucson the following morning – the 4th – and headed straight for Venice Beach.

After a brief walk around the sand and sea and the Venice boardwalk, I headed further north a bit more before calling it a night.

The next day I visited Monterey.

After a few days busking and playing in Monterey, it was time to go to Big Sur.
